Welcome to Phillips Lighting & Home! We are a family owned and operated lighting and home furnishings showroom located in Modesto, California. Our founders, Elton and Wilma Phillips began their business as Phillips Electric Shop in 1947.
Now in our 60th year we’ve grown with the community to serve the growing needs of the area. In 2002, Phillips made a major move into a 28,000 square foot building at the McHenry Village shopping center. We are proud to offer the best and largest selection of lighting, ceiling fans and clocks in the region. In addition, we carry a large and ever-changing selection of stylish accent furniture, home accessories, decorative mirrors and art, area rugs, and gifts. We also offer quality dining room furniture, including beautiful, custom made-to-order pieces!

Our Lighting One affiliation enables us to offer our customers the best value in lighting. Through Lighting One, we are able to showcase many exclusive lighting collections not available through other stores!
In 2005, our store was nominated for and awarded the ARTS award for “Best Lighting Showroom, Western Region”. The ARTS award is the highest honor in the United States in the field of decorative accessories. We were honored to receive the award – and now feel a deep responsibility to continue to live up to it!

Phillips Lighting & Home has earned a following not just in Modesto, but also from the Bay Area, the Sierra foothills and up and down the Central Valley.
